Olympus E620 DSLR

High-quality photos and a solid performance mark the Olympus E620, a 12-megapixel entry-level digital SLR, aimed at users who want more than a point-and-shoot but without the complexity of an expensive professional SLR.

The Olympus E620 is billed as the World's smallest DSLR with mechanical image stabilization. It's a fun camera, designed to bridge the gap between the professional and artistic worlds. It has a light body - 18.9 ounces. The In-body Image Stabilization adjusts to your body movement to eliminate blur caused by camera shake.

What makes the E620 attractive?

Six in-camera art filters (Pop Art, Soft Focus, Pale and Light Color, Grainy Film, Light Tone and Pin Hole) and four aspect ratios (3:2 yields popular 4″ x 6″ print size, 4:3 gives an 8″ x 10″ enlargement, 16:9 will display in widescreen television format, 6:6 yields a square image.)

The TFT screen can be rotated to any angle to capture shots over spectators' shoulders, around obstacles or at ground level.

The Olympus E620's Face Detection system tracks up to eight faces within the viewed area, compensating for movement to present clear focussed features ideal for family photographs.

In common with all E-series cameras, the E-620 has Olympus' SuperSonic Wave Filter dust removal system. Electronic pulses vibrate dust away from the lens, saving the user hours of retouching photographs via PC software and eliminate the need to return to the manufacturer to remove trapped dust.

Perfect Shot Preview enables E620 users to preview and select white balance and exposure components prior to shooting. 28 preset scene-select modes cover all imaginable shooting scenarios.

The Olympus E620 uses Shadow Adjustment Technology to compensate for light variations within shadowed areas while retaining sharper highlighted areas.

The Olympus E620 will add a touch of style to your images and put the fun back into photography!
